Nothing  —  I mean, I might ask what floor you were getting off at and offer to push a button… but… I wouldn’t start pitching you on my expertise in Landscape Architecture, Sales Automation, UI Development, or  Biomedical Engineering. However, this bizarre phenomenon of elevator pitches has, apparently, happened enough to become part of our collective human psyche. Ergo, let us suppose I have bumped into you in the elevator of the Empire State Building. As the elevator hurtles upward at about 1.3 floors a second, I begin: 

 

Hi, my name is Will Glockner and I graduated from Tufts University in 2019 as both a Biomedical Engineer and a Human Factors Engineer. Human Factors Engineering is a new field; so, let me break it down for you. It is equal parts mechanical engineering, ergonomics, psychology, design, product development, and coding. These days, I’ve -mostly- left the tech world and headed off to University of Arizona to pursue my passion for Landscape Architecture.  My primary goal is to help return profitability, resilience, and sustainability to smaller agricultural operations by capitalizing upon the existing, positive feedback loops already present in our natural world.
